Our History

Founded in 1998, Delmar Home & Fashion is a family-owned retailer, offering thoughtfully curated fashion and home essentials. What began as a small beginning of buying and selling shoes grew into a trusted store built through dedication, hands-on family involvement, and a commitment to quality. Guided by founder Marva Dell and her family Delmar Home & Fashion continues to evolve.

Starting with a single 50 count case of shoes, Marva set out to build a business grounded in quality, service, and opportunity. From the beginning, Delmar was a true family effort, shaped by hard work and shared purpose. Marva was guided by her family every step of the way. Her sister, along with nieces and nephews, helped pack, label, and prepare merchandise, while Marva’s son and daughter grew up working in the shop after school learning the business from the ground up. What began as hands-on support became a foundation of knowledge, pride, and continuity.

A Legacy Continued

As Delmar Home & Fashion grows, so does its next generation of leadership. Today, Marva’s daughter works alongside her mother as Chief Operating Officer, helping to guide the business forward while honoring the values on which it was built. Delmar Home & Fashion is committed to strengthening its core values of quality, style, and customer care while honoring the family-driven foundation on which the business was built. Together, they are focused on thoughtful growth that preserves Delmar’s personal touch.
